I write this blog to share insights and ideas on Europe today.
Europe is a geographical expression, a cultural heritage, a political project, and a market.
I write from Paris, which with classic French chauvinism I consider to be the heart of Europe. Many of my posts are set in Paris because it’s the city I call home.
My aspiration is to compile a series of vignettes that, together, will have something meaningful to say about Europe: where it’s coming from, where it is today, where it’s going.
I contribute to this blog about five times per week. I seek out topics both timely and timeless. My method is unashamedly anecdotal; I’m not trying to compete with the financial press or with scholarly journals.
