Wishes for the future
French presidential contender Ségolène Royal has a new web site. The consensus seems to be that it's horrible. Commentators have especially seized on the use of a free wallpaper download and a simplistic look and feel. L'Express points out how the site was conceived by Royal and the new man in her life, André Hadjez, a 58-year old businessman.
For a comparison, a Royal challenger, former prime minister Laurent Fabiuis, has a site that looks like a blog, but with a more polished appearance than Royal's site. And as I mentioned a few days ago, a far-left party, the NPA, has a sophisticated graphic design.
